We bought our house 7 years ago with a charming white vinyl split rail fence . We had no idea they were outlawed till we read the editorial in the paper. Our maintenance free fence will now cost us $475 to paint.

If you paint it, it will just come off & be ugly. Neighbor got permission & spent over $5,000 for fencing several years ago & it’s beautiful! It’s an oxymoron to allow it & then say grandfathered fences are now not legal. Just not right!
