Stupid rule!!

Eliminate ACC

The current white landscape,(snow), would blend with a white picket fence very well. Today it’s white fences, tomorrow who knows.

White fences are fine

It is time to get a petition to hold a vote to disband the POA the ACC AND cooper laws and turn all of there assets over to the city

Have had our white picket fence for 20 years. To have to tear it down or repaint it another color is just not right.

The no white rule needs to change.

This makes absolutely no sense and erodes freedom. While I am all for semblance of control to eliminate unsightly stuff....there is no logic in calling a white fence unsightly.

I just finished watching the PGA St. Jude Fed Ex golf tournament held in Memphis. There were ten's of thousands in attendance and millions watching on TV. Interesting to note at the 18th tee, fairway and green as well as the rest of the course the surrounding "Multi Million" dollar homes had white fences. Note: the grounds and homes were spectacular. This is a nationally televised event by CBS and has been on the PGA tour for decades. I guess it's ok for an event that generates $50 million dollars a year in revenue to allow white fences. I wonder how many phone calls CBS, Fed Ex or St.. Jude's received about not being able to watch the event because of all the distractions of the white fences. But not Bella Vista? ABSURD!!!! White fences are as American as apple pie. Whoever in the ACC came up with this idea needs to double check their ego at the door. You ain't no CBS, Fed Ex or St Jude's.

I don't see how you can possibly have a problem with fences when there are white houses and white trimmed outbuildings all over the village.

I am against this as this will cause BV homeowners unnecessary spending.

We have a white vinyl fence that 6 feet high and surrounds our backyard patio. It is behind the house and far from the street and can barely be seen from the street. I have honeysuckle and grape vines that cover parts of what can be seen from the street. I also have two large lilac bushes that are up against it as well as numerous smaller shrubs. All these will have to be destroyed or damaged in order to paint or replace the fence. I have priced the special primer that will be required to paint it and it costs $522. That doesn't include the top coat. I will also have to buy or rent a paint sprayer. I am 75 years old and don't need to waste my limited energy on my fence because of this stupid and arbitrary ruling by the ACC. We happen to like the white fence and it was one of the things that we found attractive when we purchased the house last year. This is a wonderful place to live but it is being ruined by a few people that have uncontrolled egos and a lust for power. Sadly, if we had it to do over, we would not be living here.

I am against the NO white picket change!

There are a lot more important and impactful things that need to be done in BV than this.

White fences are as American as apple pie!

The POA is a necessity in our city, and needs to stay. The ACC is an unnecessary evil and needs to go.
