Cabrio will do everything but spin..just stops and grinds...wasn't very old when I got it..worked fine for a little while.

Purchased model wtw5600xwo from sears a cple yrs ago The workers suggested to me it was such a good washing machine and a good bargain for the set ( washing machine and dryer ) and not to mention it is HE .... WORST purchase ever...moldy all over the top,,, It doesnt spin , it rarely drains the water gets very moldy.. WORST IT DOESNT WASH THE CLOTHES....

My washer is less than 2 years old. It will go through the wash and rinse cycles but stops at the spin cycle.

Same problem. 2010 quits before spin, gives oL code. Repai was to cost $200 for replacing the basket/shady assembly, $190 for repairs and $95 for the visit.

Same problem as everyone else on here. 2010 model cabrio wtw5600. The wash cycle works fine, but it stops at the spin cycle. Today the power went out because of high winds. When the power came back on the washer started crackling and smelled of burned motor and burning plastic. We immediately unplugged it. I'm going to call whirlpool, but after some online searching I figure I will have little luck like the rest. This washer needs to recalled.

Same issue as everyone else. I one person household with a 4 year old washing machine that wasn't working. Initially the technician thought it was the shifter but then thought it is either the control panel or motor - way more expensive to repair then this machine is worth! It did not register error codes. Never again Whirlpool!

This washer is junk, unfortunately have had problems since day 1 and customer service would not help. Now having the exact same spin issue others reported. I have been ripped off big time and will never do business with Whirlpool again. they used to be my go-to brand but never again. Quality has diminished and CS will admit the washer has major issues but no recall or compensation.
