Would certainly be much more convenient for all of us on this side of the island. It's where the majority of the population lives. Makes sense to me.

I gratefully support local business on a regular basis...but I also shop at Costco once a month. I won't change my habits if they come to Hilo. I'd just prefer to save my gas and my time by having it located on this side of the island!!!

I currently shop at Costco about 4 times a year. 3-4 hours to drive round trip plus gas from Hilo limits how much shopping we do at Costco.

I'm a member and driving 90 miles one way takes much of the savings from shopping Costco. Thousands of east Hawaii residents are already members and you would certainly be waiting at the door every day if you open a store in Hilo. The time is right and we are waiting.

Would love to NOT have to drive all the way to Kona to shop at Costco! We load up the truck every time we go over there, but that's cumbersome and not often enough.
