A costco in hilo would be extremely successful. We lived on the east side of the island for 5 years and would plan monthly trips. It was financially well worth the effort, but having one closer would have made a huge difference in our quality of life.

Yes I would love to see a Costco in Hilo. Walmart & Target are always jammed. I don't drive 2 + hours to Kona to go to Costco, but I would Join if their were one in Hilo.

As a small bussiness owner I do need Costco a lot in Hilo.
Save money, save time to drive to Kona.
It will help a lot to my budget.
I don't think it will hurt the small businesses or small local grocery store in Hilo. Because
A lot of people are already been shopping to Kona Costco and that didn't hurt the local bussinesses.

Costco could buy out Hilo Lanes and Cost u Less for a great location on Kinoole Street. I wouldn't even mind if they put one in Keeau or Puna.

Yes, Please, we need a Costco on the East Side of Hawaii. I'm thinking Kea'au would be a good central location for those living as far away as Kalapana, Kapoho, Pahoa, and even Volcano Village.

Costco would be great in Keaau, close enough to Hilo and convenient for people in Puna to get to as well. After all Puna has as many residents now as Hilo does. Hilo already has enough traffic problems. Either or... we need a Costco on this side of the island for sure.
