I would like the students of the Latymer School to support me in calling for the punishments of Nye Cominetti, Mischa Wykurz, Laky Pattapola, Daniel Wegrzyn, Michael Burgoyne, Tom Evans and Zora Kuttner to be ammended. We would like the school to allow them to attend the leaver\'s ball, school trips and revision sessions, because they have been unjustly punished. The first five names were involved in putting up a banner which read \'what goes up...\', on the main school building and have been accused of \'endangering their lives\' and of putting up a \'humorous\' banner. Zora and Tom passed up a sign saying \'Ikea\' to the top of the sports hall and were accused again of putting up a humorous sign. No permanent damage was done to the school and the aforementioned cased none and tried to stop others from displaying offensive posters and were unaware of the graffiti done to the school building. Neither were they responsible for the graphic on the school field. They are being punished for the misdemeanours of others who have caused damage to the school, and are having actions pinned on them for which they are not responsible. Mr Garbett is arguing that the actions of all those who entered the school property are equal and that all who were there are equally responsible just because they were there. This is communal punishment: it is irrational and unjust and they are not being given a fair hearing by the school. They are being fined
