This zoning is not what was agreed upon when this neighborhood was built. I am strongly opposed to the planning change.

This plot of land is an opportunity to benefit many, long-standing members of South Jordan's community. The plot of land they want to build on is across the street from the house I grew up in. I loved having the open land there and having a public park would be far more beneficial for far longer and for far more people than a restricted 55+ closed community.

I, we do NOT approve of this building of homes. This must be developed into green space for the existing residents and families of the area to thrive.

Our neighborhood cannot support a development of this size without addition access or egress to their development and not through our exsisting subdivision streets! I oppose this high density development!

The lack of green space in So Jordan is of serious concern. Our area especially is lacking a place where families and individuals can take a break from traffic and construction . Please do not rezone this 40 acres, and develop the promised park .

We don’t have the room for a whole new community right in the middle of our already crowded neighborhood... We have lots of kids around, and a roomy park close by is something we have needed for quite some time. The college is directly next to it, and then we have an elementary school right next door down the street... It would make things 100x more crowded and chaotic than it already is. We would all be like sardines in a can... It doesn’t make the least bit of sense.
A nice park with benefit everyone, and that’s what needs to be put there!

I agree that this is an ill conceived project with many flaws and at the property should be zoned to accommodate housing as has been previously built in the adjoining neighborhoods but with .25 acre lots.

Against, code changed to help this deceit. This will hurt our property value and congest all nearby neighborhoods because there will be limited access to this small area with way too many homes for the space. Infrastructure will not support this proposal.

3400 W cannot handle that much traffic! South Jordan DOES NOT need more high density housing! Cuty Council and developers have ruined our beautiful city already by putting in what they have!!! One reason we chose South Jordan to plant our roots was because of the zoning rules not allowing high density housing. So tired of greedy politicians!!

There are three major concerns with this project: 1) the added traffic to 3400 South and other residential streets such as Star Fire and Iron Gate Rd, 2) this contradicts the original plan for open spaces and park areas, 3) the potential devaluation of homes in the surrounding area.

That would ruin the whole neighborhood. We cannot have this. It would dramatically increase traffic that would make the rest of the neighborhood very unsafe for the children and family outside, and besides the massive traffic increase, the seniors are not going to be safe drivers with there delayed reactions and with it being such a significant size of senior development I would feel very uncomfortable with the increased traffic, seniors or not. Also, it is not currently liscensed for homes anyways, and would be different if it already was. We need to protect our public land from unneccesary residential development and use the land for something that is beneficial for us all that live in our congested community. Our neighborhood does not need/want the residential development.
