I was at this event. One of maybe 5-10 Asians that were there. Which is indicative of the industry as a whole. I remember when this guy said the comments, people turned to look at me to see how I would react.

I married a Chinese man for 30 years and have two sons who are much better lovely, compassionate, and beautiful humans than this ignorant so-called professor.

A racist quote from any person let alone a person who has such influence with leaders of the world and young minds.

This shows how racism is deeply rooted in this great country of more than 200 years old. The promise of equality is not achieved after all these years. Even after this country had the fortune of someone like Matin L King, whose wisdom is still almost purposefully overlooked by many so called the ‘affluent class’. Too bad that these people treated priceless treasure like trash. Shame on you!!!

These kind of comments are not acceptable and should be prohibited at an ordinary working environment, let alone it comes from an established professor who teaches at a world-renowned institution.

Disgusting. If these comments were made about blacks or hispanics, this would be all over the media.

Linneman - a poor excuse for a human being, let alone "man". He talks like an impotent, insecure, bully - There is no place in our U.S. educational system for anyone with these kinds of deep-seated psychological issues.

It's 2016, it's no longer safe for anyone to make racial slurs for the sake of trying to be funny. For a educator to do this, not only at the expense of the Japanese, then to go after the Chinese (because he didn't get the laugh he wanted) shows a GREAT disrespect for Asians and a deep seated PROBLEM with this individual. Until such time as he seeks and successfully completes sensitivity training he should be barred from teaching. It's simple as that, he has deep seated issues that need to be addressed.

If this man is on the faculty and Trump is an alum, Wharton may not be as great as it is made out to be. Neither education nor intelligence is inversely correlated with racism.
