Wharton Professor Peter Linneman should be FIRED for racism

Your "Penn community (Pc)" is not insulated from outside comment because of the tuition you may or may not pay. What if your “Pc” were mostly middle to upper class, minimally HS educated and from Western nations. (BTW most Ivies fit that description, right?) The graduates would not get the benefit of input from folks unlike them. Your merely paying tuition does not make you an exclusive stakeholder; if and when you graduate, you may actually lead a corporation, lead in government or affect those outside the Pc. So, we all have a stake in what is taught and who is doing the teaching in your Pc. Further, the instructors in your Pc often counsel government—in that way what is discussed and decided in your Pc has a very direct affect on the populace. If someone shows indication hir is unfit to teach, Pc and non-Pc alike should investigate; we are all affected.

You're guilty of the stereotyping you're complaining about. Every nationality beautiful, not so beautiful and average people. No nation produces any more "fine looking women" than any other nation. "Fine looking" is subjective. I too am an AAPI sexagenarian with a Caucasian spouse (we have a child, so I’m potent); our combination was pretty rare back in the day.

We should stop supporting Wharton if they don't reprimand Linneman. No one from China should supporter any real estate deal that involves his company.

I am especially hurt and disappointed that an educated and esteemed professor of my alma mater holds a worldview that led him to crudely demeans an entire demographic for laughs. The Penn community must make it clear this is against what our school believe in and accept in the world.

Completely appalling coming from a professor at a top tier school. If this is what is to be expected from Wharton, I'll simply direct my managers to not hire any more of their graduates.
