They are extremely Too high!!!!!!!! I actually had to move because my light bill just kept getting higher and higher and I just couldn't afford it anymore!

This has to stop...being cut off for cents...people don't have jobs to pay there light Bill when it's 400 or 385 mines stay in that rage if not 600

30 dollar sewage fee!!! 30 dollar garbage fees! And it just shows up on you bill and you can do anything about it!

Was actually talking about this last week while in WG&L. My gma is 80 plus yrs old and her light bill was 516.00 it was either pay it or get her medicine and eat. Straight sad and something needs to be done about it

Every year during summer and winter bill goes up and I use the same amount of utilities every day but somehow the prices differ. How is this possible? I stay in a one bedroom apartment with one other person and no kids. Both work, so at the times no one is here nothing extra is being used so how does a one bedroom pay almost 250 for bill?! Outrageous!

I AGREE WITH THIS PETITION...THEY CHARGING ALL THIS MONEY AND YOU HAVE TO HAVE DEATH IN FAMILY JUST TO GET AN EXTENSION...AND LOSING YOUR JOB SHOULD BE ALL THE REASON FOR AN EXTENSION...NOT TO WG&L

My lightbill has been $400-$500 a month, I called them to send someone out to my house to Audit and they said my meter fell off when they tried to check it.

It's ridiculous!! When you go to WG&L and ask for a break down of your bill they explain everything but what you ask.

Albany WG&L is terrible. They're quick to disconnect but take their precious time 2 reconnect. My friend had to pay almost $900 for a past due bill and the next month her bill was still $500+. There's no consideration for how people are going to pay them and other bills. I truly hope something is done about them immediately.

This is so true! I think it's outrageous that they are making people pay a second deposit if they are disconnected for paying after the due date. Most people live on a fixed income and they have to wait until the very last day to pay the bill
