The 2020 US election is one of the most important elections to date and it is imperative that everyone do their most basic part of the election process and vote! Regardless of political affiliation, voting is a right given to us that every American citizen should exercise. Wake Forest Engineering should take it upon themselves to push students in the department to go out and vote.

The engineering department should create a small incentive to have their students vote. Whether it be a prize for the class or a small extra credit opportunity, energizing students to vote should be supported by the department.

There would be a great badge of honor that could be worn if all of those that are eligible to vote within the engineering department do so, again regardless of political affiliation.
