West Chester Borough Footloose Ordinance

West Chester Borough should maybe focus on the homeless nuts that linger around the town and beg for money so they can spend it on the heroin they purchase from the (former) 7/11 workers. They should also focus on the endless amount of sexual assaults that occur on and near the campus. What a joke. This is America. Playing music on the sidewalk is harmless.

Honestly wtf why is this even a thing? There's a lot more important issues in our world than singing and dancing

Live music is a staple in West Chester. THis would be a travesty is this bill passed.

Music is what I live for. They take that away, and they take away part of who I am.

Keep the creative juices flowing. The town is here because the people are. With out them the town is pointless. Let people do what they want. They aren't hurting anyone

I am more offended by politicians thinking that they know what is best for me and my community than by any performance of a street artist.

Please do not pass this agregious ordinance, which will result in a loss of culture, beauty, and appreciation of the arts in our community.

I wholeheartedly oppose this act! I love walking through town hearing the music. I think it adds character to the town and makes it special.

You might as well ban fun if you take away music.

Music is one of the things that makes West Chester unique and beautiful, and I can't imagine the streets of West Chester without the art that makes it what it is.

This is ridiculous! If the performances aren't hurting anyone it's not a big deal! Stop trying control everything we do in a "Free Country!"

I don't live in West Chester but Daniel Brouse is a friend of mine and I know all he wants to do is make people happy and make people think through his music.

I have read the proposed ordinance. The ordinance, if enacted, is clearly overbroad and violates the First Amendment Right to Free Speech.. The ordinance appears to be a "solution" to a non-existent problem.
