Much needed!! Westburn already has a good skate scene and has played a huge part in Aberdeen's skateboarding culture throughout the years. A new park would be fantastic for the area

Great idea, would be a great city park, no toilets though. Unless the pavilion in the centre could be renovated into a traditional style cafe / ice cream parlour / coffee shop and restaurant. The one I'm Stanley park, Blackpool is always busy

This would be a fantastic facility it would encourage children to a outdoor activity instead of sitting at computer screens.

I have recently joined the Granite City Roller Derby group and it would be great to have a proper outdoor facility to practise on between our weekly skate sessions!

This is a must, the city needs to provide something that was non existent when I was growing up and skating was my main hobby. Constantly being moved on by police or security was not enjoyable and gave the skating community a bad name.
