Chair of Freinds of Victoria and Westburn parks. This skate park dates way back into the 70s and is far to small for the amount of skate boarders and stunt bike users, overcrowding has ment that the smaller children have a long wait for there chance to get on. A new up to date skate park is well overdue

Let us help children enjoy themselves in play outside with friends rather than sitting alone in a room with a tablet.

ACC have some funding earmarked to help with this but are unsure in current climate of cuts whether they will be able to hang on to it. They are meeting on or about 24th May. It would be good to get as many locals to sign this and show support for this project in the next couple of weeks and then submit the petition to ACC.

I would like to see more skate parks flourish in Aberdeen so that the young people can become healthier and pursue outdoor activities instead of staying in front of their computers all the time!
Please build a better skatepark in Westburn, the actual one is truly in a poor state!
Kind regards,
Clara Bergeron

Westburn skatepark is sooo bad right now and we really need to get somewhere that we can skate when it's hot instead of TX since it is inside.

Aberdeen does not have much in the way of skatepark facilities when compared to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and even Dundee! The ramp that was built in 1990 was taken away last year too!! Tue money spent on an upgrade wouldn't be much and would benefit hundreds of young people
