I just moved to June Park and I am not happy that this is a consideration! We moved to these areas for these schools. How is it fair they can change it when people move here for that reason.

For students that are in a certain academic program or sports that are not offered to the rezoned school, it is disturbing and not at all thoughtful to be moved. They work hard a whole year , they are part of a team and it is not ok at all to pull them out from those programs.

Stop rezoning! West melbourne needs to stay at mel high. We bought or homes based on the schools and market value and you are now trying to destroy it. Give us or school impact fees we paid back and taxes we paid for the school we expected to go to if you rezone us! Leave sawgrass with mel high. Their is no reason beachside should be going to mel high.

Do not rezone students going to A rated schools to lesser rated schools. Many people bought in West Melbourne for the A rated schools.

In addition to community issues, the students would have to endure undue stress and possible prejudice simply due to their community upbringing. The tight-knit town of West Melbourne has a substantial difference in culture, tradition and way-of-life from the proposed area zones. This alone could potentially have devastating effects on the children, their families and the overall mental well-being of all involved.

We are bulldog nation. Let's not change this. My children's grandfather was on Mel HI's first football team. And we plan on keeping this tradition going.
