This change is unacceptable, our children deserve to go to a school with the same rating and expectations. Our children should not be used as pawns to fill seats and increase the ratings a failing school. Fix the problems and then let's have this discussion. Thank you.

I strongly and vehemently oppose the rezoning. The school district was one of the principal reasons I purchased my house where I did.

We bought home for the Melbourne High School. If we want our children to go to the Palm Bay High School, we would have bought home in the Palm Bay area.

Please do not rezone our area. I've bought 2 houses in this area just because of the the school zoning. I would not have spent my life savings on our house if I'd have known that my kids would have to go to a school where I could have purchased a much more inexpensive home. My kids and I are highly emotionally invested in our school.

Many, if not all, that make a decision to live in West Melboune versus districts like Viera or Melbourne do so because of the school district. Rezoning will impact have a material impact on the quality of education of our children. The whole issue feels very strange to me, what is the justification for such a change? Is there a legal angle to consider?

It is flat out wrong to rezone this area! Most bought here because of the school zone, and rezoning will affect taxes from home values.

Palm Bay High is one of three schools in Brevard county with a day care for the student's children. The school board wouldn't pay for it if it wasn't necessary.

I just moved here for the potential schools my children to attend. They should of already rezoned a new neighborhood before the development ever became instead of being misleading.

If I wanted to be zoned for Palm Bay HS, I would have bought a cheap house in Palm Bay! This is unacceptable for the students, their parents and all homeowners.

I bought my home because it’s in Melbourne and Melbourne High School district. This would not be fair to my home or children.
