The dollar figures did not match up The concerns from parents, students and the teachers union were not taken into consideration

Mar Jok should have been a middle school. Students should be forced to attend the school in their own catchment. I know students who drive from Kelowna to go to Mar Jok. Rose Valley gets the Lakeview Heights students who don’t want to send their kids t Hudson or George Pringle. Something wrong with administration.

Need more time to implement this. So much for putting the students first.

SD#23 you must put the children first and abide by your policy of meaningful consultation with fair consideration before making decisions!

Planning was not thought out. Our kids deserve a smooth transition.

This is a decision about money with no regard for student wellbeing

Not enough notice was given for a major change like this!!! It's ridiculous & appears sneaky and not at all transparent

change can be good and beneficial as long as the people and students involved understand why.

I understand that the grade reconfiguration will happen I would just like to see the appropriate amount of time needed to make these changes as smooth as possible for our children, teachers and parents. I personally do not think that grade 6 should be in middle school as many of these children are not quite mature enough. I mean there are grade 8/9 students smoking at CNB, our 11 and 12 yr old children do not need to be exposed to this yet. The grade 5's and 8's are missing out on their "final year at the school activities', course selection is rushed and the kids have been told that there may not be grade 9 school sports teams next year . This decision is too rushed. Money is not as important as our children, take the additional year and think out the proper processes to make such a significant change.

This is amateur hour at its finest. Drastic changes being made with no plan on how to implement these changes. Why hold public a public hearing to get tax payers input if the trustees have already made up their minds? Thanks for wasting my time.
