This decision directly affects my niece and her family and a whole lot of others who are worried sick about their kids. We wish you would honor your previous agreement instead of negatively affecting so many children with this hasty decision they are simply not ready for.

They are not ready for this and why do the Peachland kids have to be put with grade 9? It’s just not right

Kids have enough pressure these days with social media and Technology having 11 year olds in middle school is pushing it too far. Let kids be kids

The district is rushing through this process, and should be taking more time and spending the appropriate money to do this reconfiguration properly. I do not agree with the solution presented but agree changes to be made and a smarter long term solution needs to be carefully carried out.

This would be a huge mistake, leave Elementary School the way it is, maybe cut back on all the senior level management, typically top heavy.

This is ridiculous to push young children in to schools with older ones where pier pressure can have such a huge detrimental affect!!!!!

Mount boucherie is already overpopulated, there isn’t room for another 500 students.

C'mon School District #23 Directors! Give your collective heads a shake. There are a lot of Grade 5's who are not emotionally ready for Grade 6, especially the adjustments to the culture of middle-school.

this decision was done too quickly, not giving families time to prepare

Kids need to feel safe at school. Any student who makes this type of threat needs to leave school and be educated at home . Every student needs to know this behaviour is unacceptable and know they will be safe at school. Parents need to educate their children, teaching that violence, such as bomb threats, shooting students, is a criminal offence and they will be procecuted. This school response gets a fail from me. We expect more.

He oldest is goin into grade 6 next year. He is really upset about goin to middle school already. I don't think he ready emotionally. They are still little. I don't think they have everything figured out with placements. They need to build a new high school before they do any of this.

As seeing the process in person which took place February 28, 2018 I do not believe the school board did its due diligence to make this decision and it needs to be rectified.

Instead of such an egregious decision how about a new West Kelowna High School?

Very late in the year to put this together considering nobody works all summer and spring break starts next week.

The children won’t be ready for high school raises to many concerns with children that young and people that are almost adults at graduation level.
