I very much support Rev. Vosper's views of promoting a healthy lifestyle and being a better member of the community rather than the biblical outdated drivel that the Church attempts to brainwash into people every day all over the world.

Wanting to encourage not only Gretta but all those that wind up heretical in the eyes of the 'establishment' to keep on keeping on making the Christ religion or Christ way relevant to the 21stC mind.

I believe that each person chooses their own path. The United Church says that we are each on our own road but they are not following through with this statement.

I have grown up in the United Church and always believed as Gretta Vosper has that God was a way of life not someone out there who intervenes in the world. Do I no longer have a place in the United Church???

we need to be honest with ourselves that the old way of faith does not work or make sense in the current world. Gretta is that honest voice

I'm sorry that I didn't sign this. I was sent to an address I no longer. My partner sent it on to me. Too late to sign, unfortunately. I will keep you all in my prayers and look forward to hearing the results.

I am concerned that UCC is not listening to all voices in regard to this issue. Lorie Kurz, Meewasin Valley United, Saskatoon, Sask.

I support Gretta Vosper in her endeavors to remain in the United Church and at West Hill in particular.

This looks more and more like a kangaroo court- put in place by a GS with very little theological training

I was raised in the United Church and became a member at 13. In University I left the church and only returned a few years ago when I learned of Gretta. I attend West Hill when I can and feel part of a caring community.

Excluding the most affected party in this conversation is wrong. Further this sets back fair and just labour practices for clergy serving the church.

I am a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) minister in good standing actively serving a congregation. I, like Gretta, am a Christian Atheist. There are more of us than you may realize. The Church would do well to listen to the voices of those at West Hill to hear how suitable and effective Rev. Vosper is. Rev. Vosper is not "on trial." The Church is "on trial" in regards to how it treats its own clergy who minister with the people by using gifts of scholarship, curiosity, compassion, and an expanding faith. Eyes are on the United Church, and of course the Christian Church as a whole, as to its suitability and effectiveness for ministry in the 21st century.
