What an insult that a man can announce he's a woman or that he knows how it feels to be a woman. Impossible. I'm fed up with the manipulation of language and bullying from men who want access to female spaces. Enough with the 'Be Kind' intimidation. Be strong! Men can 'Be kind' and stay out of our spaces.

As a child I played with all my brother’s toys - playing with cars in the dirt, toy soldiers (I loved the red and black) which I played with the boy over the road. I climbed trees and undertook all kinds of adventurous activities which Mum would have had a fit had she known. I was good at sports especially running and discus. If I were at school now I would probably have been confused about my sex and thought I should identify as a boy so I think it’s harmful to brainwash primary school children.

I was an early member of the WEP and am very disappointed on their stance about trans issues. The party has let women down big time. Hope there is a way to get back on track. In meantime, have joined the Women’s Rights Network.

Trans people may not feel comfortable using the male bathroom or changing rooms, but we DO NOT feel comfortable with them in ours. Be who you want to be but don’t force us to accept you in our private personal spaces such as toilets and changing rooms. Nothing against trans at all but I do not agree a male under any circumstance should be allowed in a female only place!

I want my rights as a born female and that of girls, protected in Law. I feel that trans rights are becoming more important than Women and girls rights and this is wrong. In the future if I or other born females ask to see a female GP could we be faced with seeing a trans woman? If a woman was raped by a man dressed as a woman and they identified as a Woman, would the court if it was taken to court say the Woman was raped by a woman?? I want it in clearly stating that women are women and Trans women are Trans women. There is a difference and I want it recognised in Law. Children in particular need protection,

Every time an organisation caves in to pressure from the trans lobby, it is emboldened to take things one step further. All of this nonsense must stop now!

As a founding member of WEP, I’m concerned to see a party set up by women, for women, expecting women to make way (once again) for men’s feelings.

I have not joined WEP because of their stance on this issue and the way they have treated women who have tried to voice their/our concerns
