I am deeply concerned about the erosion of women and girls sex based rights, especially access to single sex competition in sport as well as female only changing and bathroom spaces. Safety and safeguarding must take priority over feelings.

The erasure of female only spaces and sports, and men colonizing womanhood is misogyny, nothing less. Demands from men to be called "women" and calling women 'menstruators" and "chest feeders" and "cis" is misogyny, nothing less. Calling women "TERFs", screaming at us, assaulting us, threatening us with rape and murder when we dare to speak about the needs of women and do not instantly acquiesce to trans activists every demand is misogyny, nothing less. I was once an ally, but now trans activists are invested in taking away our safety, dignity, and privacy. They want to erase us entirely. Women need protections from trans rights activists, not governments eradicating women's rights in favor of men who are bullying us all into supporting a delusion.

There will be attacks on CEDAW soon, it's the premier int. HR Convention for women and it's protections are sex based. Same with the Istanbul Convention. They will be gutted, as countries which want to weaken them pile into the discussions about change as well, and add other dangerous amendments.

I am so saddened to see the one party above all others that should stand up for women’s sex based rights failing so abysmally. I had hoped as a long time feminist to find common sense prevailing in the WEP. Unless WEP adopt AND implement the above, for the first time in my adult life I will not be voting in the next election. If a party does not represent me at the most fundamental level they will not have my vote.

Women literally have no one to vote for now. I am a life-long feminist & was a founding member of the WEP, I have been saddened and angered by the WEP rolling over for misogyny.
