Women's Equality Party to protect sex-based rights

The WEP of all parties should support women’s sex based rights or it is nothing. I looked to join this party but it did not do what it said on the tin.

I would have joined the WEP when I left the green party over this issue - but WEP policy is just as bad.

This would be THE party for so many women if you would just get this right! but if you can't offer to fight for women's sex-based protections & rights, then you are a pointless organisation as far as women are concerned.

I abandoned the WEP because of its pandering to TRAs. I want a party that's happy to uphold trans people's rights to safety and dignity but whose remit is protecting the safety and dignity of women. What use is the party else?

Well really... womanhood is not a novelty

Women are discriminated against on a daily basis, from within the uterus right through to death. We need to protected our sex based rights.

I am aware that we are undergoing a consultative exercise on this issue. But this declaration represents my own position, not the party position. I would like it to reflect the party position for GE2019 alongside other parties

Women's sex based rights are being eroded without discussion or consultation. This cannot stand.

Protect sex based rights.

Being a woman/female is a reality - not a feeling or identity. It’s that simple. Female biology affects women and girls hugely worldwide - it’s one thing we all share and something that just doesn’t apply to or affect men/males to the same degree or in the same way.

Went to a WEP meeting as wanted to support them but never went back after it involved signing up to anti scientific, evolutionary denying dogma. If WEP can't pledge to protect female peoples spaces and can't define woman then why do they even exist as a party? Pitiful that the one party claiming to be dedicated to promoting women's rights doesn't know what a woman is and is prepared to through us under the bus for virtue points.

I support the right of transwomen to live without discrimination but this must never be at the cost of those who were born female.

This has been a long time coming

I'm signing because women desperately need a party that will stand up for their sex-based rights. I very much doubt whether the WEP, on past form, is the party to do this but I'm signing to support the women who've initiated this.

So sad WEP seem to put fear of the Trans juggernaut ahead of the rights of women and girls to single sex protections !

It's seems ridiculous that this petition is even necessary given the name of the Party.
