It is vital that women and girls are recognised as a sex class, and that our oppression is based on that. If we do not acknowledge this, both personally and politically, all out very hard won rights will be lost. Never forget that rights once given, can be taken away ,

Generations of women and men have fought for and sacrificed much for women and girls rights, space and representation because it was recognised that discrimination was blocking equality and equity. With the development of challenges to what constitutes a women and girl, thus potential to change status, is part of that long tradition of discrimination.

Standing in cross party solidarity with my sisters as a founder signatory of the Labour Women's Declaration. Woman - adult human female. Lesbian - same sex attracted adult human female. definition's matter!

Women and girls will not accept the erosion of our female only spaces and rights. Self ID will also open the floodgates for anyone to use our spaces. This is not only dangerous this really upsets us too. Do not disregard women's safety and feelings. We demand to retain our Sex-Based rights. Create a third space Do now to take ours.

My local WEP representative claimed ignorance of the proposed changes to the GRA and of Self Sex ID. How worrying that a party working for women's equality is unaware of how women's sexed based rights are being systematically dismantled.

Sad that it has come to this, it should never have happened. I'd love to support a Party that includes such 'declarations' in its manifesto, but there isn't one.

Sex not gender. There is no political home for women that desparatly want to preserve sex based rights. Please be that place again.

Women's sex-based rights to privacy, dignity and safety are being eroded in the name of inclusion. This has to stop.
