I recycle more than double what I throw away. We could easily alternate garbage weeks and use weekly recycling.

Just about every household has far more recycling than trash - we really need weekly recycling to avoid having recyclables discarded in the trash!

Having recycling service is wonderful. My recycling can is overflowing on pick up day and sometimes I have to hold some items for the next time. A pick up every week would be very helpful.

Our recycling exceeds our trash production three fold. We end up having to store bags of recycling in our crawl space until the next pick up. Our household would certainly benefit from increased frequency of pick-up.

We always have a full recycling bin and feel like a weekly pick up would be greatly beneficial.

Frequent overflows end up in the garbage bin . Stacked recycle above rim not picked up. Extra set beside the bin not picked up. A great deal ends up in the garbage.

Please, please! I think it would give people more incentive to recupycle...I drop off at the recycling center at least once each time between curb pickups....I don't mind doing so but maybe even change garbage pick up to every other week?! Also more incentive for residents to recycle?!

It is shocking that in 2018 this is still being debated the values of recycling. In our household we always have twice as much Recycling compared to trash and I would love to have Recycling picked up WEEKLY service.
10 years ago when my kids played ball at HAP there was no recycling. I used to go around and personally collect plastic water bottles from the teams and bring them home to be recycled. I did this because the town failed to value recycling back then and it’s shame that we have to plead for the ability to be responsible conscientious citizens and stewards of the environment.
Please support Recycling and make a weekly pick up.
