Let's bring weekly recycling pick-up back to Huntersville!

Just saw this suggestion on my community page - to include two options in the petition: A) weekly with one bin, and B.) stay bi-weekly but give us each a second recyclables bin. This way, the town could pick the most cost-effective option, and still accomplish our goal.

This is desperately needed! We always have more recycling than trash. We either end up making multiple trips to the recycling center or throw recycling in the trash.

Because by able to recycle weekly would help with the build up that goes in the trash

We recycle way more than we throw in the garbage. And we are well aware of what things do and don’t get recycled.

Our recycling is overflowing all the time. We need weekly pick up please!

My garbage bin is always barely half full every week but my recycle bin is almost overflowing every other week. I would love to have weekly recycling in our town.

Yes! This will eliminate more waste because I know some throw away what they could recycle due to lack of space in bin

I always could use a weekly pick up of recycling. Household trash could be picked up every 2 weeks
