Dear Dr. Tan,

Good day! First, we would like to congratulate Grace Christian College for all the improvements that have been made in the past year. We are happy to see positive changes, not only with regard to improving school academics, but also in the areas of sports and the arts to mold the students to become well-rounded individuals who will bring glory to God.

We understand the mandate of the Department of Education to comply with the K12 curriculum and the decision to move the opening of classes to August. However, in the first year of adjustment, we have observed that the school still holds classes on the Monday and Tuesday before Holy Week.

As you know, the majority of our families look forward to this period for family vacation. For some families, it is the only time in the year where work leaves can be minimized for longer family trips. In light of this, we would like to request for the suspension of classes for the Monday and Tuesday before Holy Week. The lost days from the class suspension can be made up by extending the school year to cover the cancelled classes. We are positive that both parents and staff will appreciate this consideration.
