You really want us parents to pay for your change, when that money could on better things like providing for my family... I think the uniform should stay the way it is, and maybe they need to inform parents first before making changes to upset the modern day families.....

This makes school uniform shopping expensive with 4 kids.

Schools should be affordable to everyone. This just makes the poorer families struggle that much more.

Just found this out and is ludicrous , not necessary and children’s education should be priority not singling out who can’t afford this. My son will not be wearing these trousers as I will not pay that much for one pair

I think every parent should have a choice where they get trousers and skirts for there children especially those that don’t have the finances to pay for these when they could get 3 for the price they are asking at Asda or tesco

This is forcing parents to choose between paying for essentials or pandering to an unnecessary school policy.

Not necessary at all. Deal with the issues you’ve got rather than making bigger ones! How many people do you actually think will adhere to this if they weren’t wearing the correct uniform in the first place? I can assure you that my child will NOT be attending any detention regarding school uniform unless he turns up in a pink tutu!

Agree - school uniform is expensive, though I appreciate good quality, but children are, of course, still growing, and trousers are the first thing they grow out of. Easy for some to say parents can go without to enable your child to have the correct uniform, but not always possible. I'd go without so my children could go on school trips, and have educational books to support their learning. How much more have parents got to fork out for their child's education?

Ridiculous. Why do we need a logo on them. Let parents buy their kids trousers at a supermarket etc where they could get around 4 pairs for the price you are charging.

Absolutely disgusting that the school is trying to make the parents pay over the odds for school uniforms

Not happy as had already bought some new trousers for September and the logo ones are too expensive, and how long will it take before your order arrives if your child has a growth spurt and needs some new ones ASAP.

Absolutely ridiculous what on earth do they need logos on trousers and skirts for? Penalising people who can’t afford to buy this stuff!
