I have one child already at the school and another joining in September,She already suffers with anxiety and is finding the whole transition of moving to a new school very hard, she has extra worries now with the skirt/trouser uniform, I find this really stupid of the school to make such a silly move, The prices aswel are so much for what they are, They are not the best looking either... Not everyone can afford this, I think this was a bad move made by weavers..... Definitely a thumbs down...

I work in a company who supply and embroider uniforms for many companies and schools and know the true cost of such items, this price will be more than a 50% mark up!

Disgusting as long as each child is dressed smartly they don’t need to pay so much money per item of clothing

It doesn't matter what that wear, they just need to listen and learn

Focus should be on the education and keeping teaching consistent. My daughter has already had numerous changes of teachers in the past 6 months!

Not happy with the cost of the skirts and don’t see the need. It’s an unfair disadvantage for so many and don’t agree with it.

Think the uniform is too expensive and can make students feel uncomfortable

Far too expensive considering they have a large population of low income families. In addition, you would need to buy at least two pairs as washing them every two days isn’t cost effective either. Also hoping that these come in a range of styles and fabrics so they’re inclusive of all body types AND growth since these students are going through puberty...

Absolutely disgraceful! My son doesn't attend this academy, but another one in the town. No need for this!! Doesn't make them "learn" or "study" any harder. Hope the school sees sense after reading these comments!! Stick to your guns!

Uniform will not improve the students learning. Use the money more effectively to improve the students education.

My girls already have appropriate trousers for school, off a good quality, at a great price, that wash well.

Totally agree. And if they need a new pair. As accidents can happen over night u can't just nip shop and get a pair. The academy are not thinking of the children here. A pair of trousers or a certain type of skirt will not make the children learn better. They will learn better if they are comfortable in what they are wearing. It is taking away their individuality.
