Ocean Springs as well as the rest of the Gulf Coast has done everything possible to build a positive reputation. Allowing a show like this to be filmed ANYWHERE on the coast would tear down our good name.

This show is an abomination and should be cancelled immediately. I for one want a clean world avoide
Born in Biloxi, went to High School in St. Louis, and split my existance between SW MO and Biloxi, Mississippi! Real Gulf Coast women love to work hard and "play" hard, but we don't make fools out of ourselves...mostly ;-)

They claim that this will make O.S. a tourist destination....but they do not say what type of tourist it will bring....will it bring tourists like the people portrayed in the TV show?....I do not think O.S. wants that type of tourists....

It's an absolute shame on media, but most of all shame on us, the stately citizens of the great state of Mississippi, that there are no shows on TV portraying upper class values and traditions. It's not enough to blame Hollywood and New York City for our moral decay. If we don't like that they've mined our demographics only to determine we have a poverty problem here in MS, we must do something about it. We must create TV media programs showing a better way than gyrating in bikinis while poor, while unable to afford education without debt, which consuming the cheapest wines and spirits, which perpetuating the value of incest over the value of marriage between a non-related man and woman. We must stand up Mississippi! We must create our own shows! I just have one question: Who's with me?

We must eliminate the implication of imbreeding on TV and replace it with proper breeding. We must produce our own shows showing well bred, upper class, well educated, vibrant people spreading the promise of high class value.

Agreed, the values represented in these shows are of the very underclass we wish to suppress. Loose morals and poverty has no place in media. I for one refuse to watch it, save for research purposes. And let it be known, I never enjoy watching poor people behave according to the sordid values of their class. I abhor it!

Indeed, if we want to keep the lower classes from airing their dirty laundry for all to see, profiting immensely in the bargain, incentivizing generations of under-class youth to behave badly for money, we've got to create a plausible alternative to these young people. I ask you to band with me. We must create a reality show featuring the trash of our culture being rewarded for a hard day's work. I would watch this in a heart beat. Our show could be called The Humble Sharecropper's Comeuppance. I'd watch this any day to a bunch of trash women gyrating and cavorting with alcohol. We need redemption!
