Husson should allow Nescom to function as it has for years and allow them to keep their talented educators. We have already lost many talented individuals, Nescom should not have to lose another. Rick Davis deserves to stay at Nescom.

I had Rick for Video 1. This has got to be the most patient man in the world! Every week, we'd come in with our terrible projects, and Rick would gently critique us to help us sharpen our skills. Rick is an excellent teacher, and without him, NESCom is losing a valuable person!

Had Rick not been around when I arrived at NESCom, I don't know how well my career here would have gone. As a thorough and helpful man Rick has gotten me through three whole years of signing up for classes and dealing with unfortunate paperwork. Always quick with an email response, he's never far when you need him. Husson University would be doing itself a disservice to let such a competent and amazing teacher go.

Rick was my very first teacher in college, teaching me Intro to Video. I'll never forget where it all started and WHO taught me the basics in a patient, fun manner!

When Husson Univerity & the New England School of Communications became one, it was difficult not to be angry. There are so many levels of a merger, feet are bound to be stepped on. It seems they forget that an education is more than the information poured into presentations, papers, and test scores. Education also includes life values, hard work, and the ability to become the best version of yourself.
All Nescom staff, including the wonderful Rick Davis, have the teaching method and life coaching skills to see that each student graduates as the best versions of themselves. I hope that Husson begins to realize the quality in their instructors. They aren't just teachers, these men & women are mentors that leave strong impacts on the students paying for their education. They lead us down a path of great success whether we end up in our field or make it through the day to day challenges of life.
I am a graduate. A graduate who walked onto the Husson Univeristy campus nearly 5 years ago with no idea who I was, what I wanted, and unable to speak my mind. Today, I not only can do those things, but I have the drive to be the best I can be in every aspect of life. I've taken a year to be with family and now plan to launch back into my career, and expect only the best for myself.
SO to Husson University, start looking at the impact your staff has on students. Look at the amazing people your sending into the work force. WE LOVE the ENTIRE Husson University Staff. Please think twice before letting anyone go.
