Know your facts...very unprofessional Haitian people deserve respect

Ignorance is a deadly disease.

What she said was not right and false. I'm tired of people not knowing the fact and saying false thing and we need an apology .I'm tired of people like Jennifer Delgado making our culture look bad. That's not right and we are human beings not animals.

Please educate your reporter about Haiti before they make a fool out of herselves. Also have her apologize for her comments on Haiti.

The Haitian community deserves an apology. The statement made on tv was very disrespectful to our culture and made as if we are inhumane. What human being do you know consumes trees?

I saw the video so she needs to lose her job for misinforming the public on Haiti's social conditions.

I'm glad I don't watch MSM anymore. Reporters these days are unprofessional, misinformation and uneducated. When you have a platform is very important to use it wisely... That's why so many people are misinformed about my country.

Who the hell she thinks she is?!!! She can not and should not be a Journalist., Is she just layin to make money or..what? She must respect others.! She is a dangerous worker for the Company she currently working for. How can she proves what she said..Huh?

Her comments stem from ignorance and racism. Clearly Human beings don't eat trees. Haitians are humans and therefore, her statement is false. Integrity is crucial when reporting and her statements show lack thereof. She was so convinced of her own racist truth that she dismissed an essential requirement of her trade, fact checking/verification. She should be fired for her lack of professionalism and racist comments.

Professionalism is expected from someone who have the massed ears , hate and propaganda shouldn't be spread .

This young lady needs to be reprimanded, how there she. This is unacceptable and inexcusable and I hope the station do something about this

I found Miss Delgado's comment towards our Haitian Community terrible. I am sure where ever she is from, she would not tolerate someone to talk like that about her country. What if we said people eat tree back where you came from, would you be happy? I don't think so. Her comment was unprofessional. Some respect need to be showed towards our community. There should be fact checkers and research before stating stuff out there. Jennifer Delgado should issue an apology and be fired for her insensitive remarks.

There should be fact checkers and research editors covering every aspect of the news, including the weather. It's inappropriate to spread false, disparaging comments about a people. Jennifer Delgado should issue an immediate apology for her insensitive and derogatory remarks.

This is a very poor choice of words. She should issue an apology. I live in Haiti, her comment was heard, translated and published on social media. Most of us are horrified the world is going to base its perception of us on her ignorant statement. We demand an apology and proper research before speaking of something. I expected better from the weather channel.

Disrespectful to Haitian people, while reporting on hurricane Mathew. We as a people demand an apologize from her!!!! Because Haitian children do not eat trees, no matter how hungry they get. People don't eat trees period.

She needs to be fired. As a tv professional you are supposed to state facts not make up lies and use your platform to spread your hidden agenda
