Jennifer Delgado from The Weather Channel, on behalf of the Haitian nation I demand that you issue an apology for the egregious comments that you made in your recent coverage of hurricane #Matthew. Let me be the first one to tell you that we are not "so hungry that we eat trees". Please do not continue to perpetuate those tired stereotypes about Haiti and it's people. Educate yourself before spewing negativity about this beautiful island. I'm not sure what you were hoping to gain out of those sorry and blatantly false allegations, but a little research will show that we use our trees to make charcoal with which we make fire to cook REAL FOOD.

I am deeply disturbed by the ignorant remarks regarding Haiti by your anchor. It makes me wonder her background and blatant disrespect for a country that has been plagued with numerous attacks by mother nature. I dont think i have to remind you of the earthquake .All I want is PROOF that the children of Haiti have become so hungry that the have become OMNIVOROUS. ...eating trees??.
