The council is trying to pull the plug on Snug Harbor Pump. This means residents from Seadrift to Snug Harbor from Bay to Marine will get NO flood relief. They are doing this under the guise that a basin (that the ACE project included only for 36 runoff) will be an acceptable alternative. So we will continue to flood from drains with no way to pump water out, while the other side of town will have two. If you live in affected area or care about people in affected area please sign petition and tell them no more broken promises.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have come together to protect our neighborhood. It was never my intention to lead this but seeing you all step up is truly humbling. This momentum belongs entirely to the residents who refuse to be ignored.

South Bay Avenue is like a river every rainfall. With debris being left behind.
Please help the flooding issues with a pump or whatever it takes. The people in this area deserve the help. I lived on Washington Av for 25 years. Please consider this an emergency situation as it is! Why would it be ignored? Makes no sense. Please help now.
Council you all ran on fiscal responsibility and working to fix the flooding. So far you have done neither! Do what the people ask or be voted out.
We need this pump, not want. I am tired of moving my car uptown every time it rains on a high tide.
What acceptable excuse could there be to leave one side of town continually at risk and damaged! Negligence!
Let's fix this problem. A basin will not help. Fix the damn pumps...

Please do what is needed. The other day I saw the man hole cover at the corners if water witch and bay being lifted by water coming up from underneath the cover. That is scary. Even when it rains now my yards floods about a foot. I think the ground is flooded because the amount of water has no where to go. Help Please!
