All employees who retired prior to the D2/D2R change deserve to be grandfathered into original agreement of lifetime D2 travel

We stood in a full conference room of employees making decisions on moving /transferring/retiring... we were promised there would be NO CHANGE to our flight benefits... D2R did not exist

Simple request. Please honor it. Active employees will appreciate this when their retired days come and they can truly enjoy traveling more.

The demotion of the retirees flight status from D2 to D2R is a passive-aggresive form of age discrimination. Grandfather us in!

D2 travel was part of our retirement package. Most of us who worked full time were not able to travel as much as we would’ve liked to. Looking forward to traveling more in our retirement years then having the benefit reduced is a huge let down after 30 years of service and dedication!!

I’m tired of people that have never even worked for the airline getting on before those of us that gave many years to this company.

After I retired and was looking forward to my passes, I was totally flummoxed to find that my years of service didn't deserve any loyalty or respect to reward us with what we were/are entitled to. I am so disappointed with American's upper management with their unfeeling and greedy mentality. The better you treat your employees the better loyalty and respect they will have for their company. The very least you can do is to reinstate our original D2 status and stop playing around with the dedicated retirees who deserve much more.
