The town council finally approved ClubNed and we officially won this fight against their ridiculous double standards. They tried to keep us hiding in the shadows but we refused to back down until we got our space. Enjoy the victory because we earned every bit of this.

Final supporters
ClubNed is a cozy, well lit café where people can come & enjoy their cannabis, as well as learn more about this beneficial plant. It is located in the central business district in Nederland, Colorado, where cannabis is now legal and will shortly be sold over the counter. Cannabis is now supposed to be treated like alcohol. There are many places where you can buy and drink alcohol. There are no places where you can legally gather to enjoy your cannabis. We are asking tourists to come to our town, buy some cannabis and then leave or go hide someplace they’re not supposed to be.
Considering that alcohol kills over 85,000 annually and cannabis none, We The People demand the right to choose.
We all deserve the choice to go to a Cannabis Café instead of a bar.
We all deserve to have a safe, cannabis friendly place where we’re not treated like criminals
We deserve a place where we can enjoy our cannabis and yet not bother others who do not enjoy cannabis.
Our visitors deserve a safe, designated place they can enjoy their legal herb.
Our town deserves to collect the tourist dollars flowing into the state because of legal cannabis.
We The People believe in freedom of choice. By signing this petition, I am affirming that I believe that ClubNed Café should be allowed to open.

The town council thinks they can ignore us but this momentum proves the community is done with their hypocrisy. We are demanding a legal space for cannabis and the local officials will have to answer for this surge of support.

This is the only respectful solution or recreational sales in the city…we need to provide safe, tasteful enjoyable places to partake if we expect a positive effect on tourism.
I look forward to traveling to CO from TX as a Cannabis Tourist and will be basing my decision on which town(s) I will visit and stay at on the availability of Cannabis and places to consume it.
We need a safe place to go. If I drank alcohol I could go to the bars.i would rather spend my money in Nederland and not feel like I have to rush out of town
Besides cannabis being safer than the alcohol bar across the street from the church a cannabis gathering is a place to enjoy like minded people knowing we are safe from being harassed by ignorance. You cannot tell you visitors to drive all the way up to awesome Nederland to buy you marijuana and then tell them to hurry out of town. People want to enjoy Nederland community and they too spend money at local shops. Being peaceful together should not be a crime.
I support such an establishment and see it posing no threat to our community. Regulate like alcohol means there should be a safe place for people who are over 21 years of age to consume cannabis.

Support responsible cannabis use! Club Ned is more fun and safer than smoking in your car or hotel room for tourists.
