I live in Melbourne and with Air Asia flights to Mauritius, I had the chance to go back home and visit my family 3 times. This would have been impossible with other airlines due to higher prices.
Those cheap flights have increased awareness of where Mauritius is and attracted more tourism.
More Mauritians living overseas would be tempted to visit their hometown and spend more, boosting the economy further.

I and my family was in Malaysia by Air Asia.
We were really happy to travel by this flight.
