We all love the idea of having a restomod A73 Lancer similar to what is pictured here. We want something sporty to drive and to pay homage to the classic Lancer which served so many for so long.
Similar to the success of the Toyota FT86 we believe that a new version of the classic LA Lancer will help bring Mitsubishi back to where it was and help the company succeed into the future.

I really thought this might just be a niche thought I had while staring at old car magazines but the way everyone is jumping on board here is honestly mind-blowing. It makes me realize I am not the only one obsessed with the idea of a modern A73 because clearly there is a whole crowd of us dreaming about the same thing (even if my brain goes straight to how fun it would be to drive one on a track). Let us keep this energy going because Mitsubishi definitely has to see how much we want this to happen.

Been a lancer fan since I was in the grade school! After 15 years I got my first Lancer. And I'm dying to have a new lancer again. It'll be really sad if you cut the legendary bloodline of rally.
I love to see a new version of it and might consider getting one, since i still have the 76 lancer L type.
Retro version of the 70's LA/LB just as pictured would be perfect. RWD, manual 2 litre non turbo, LSD (stock or optioned), independent rear, 4 wheel discs. Make it happen, and I'll sell my BRZ. Make Mitsubishi great again. Stop making lame SUV's.

Bring back the lancer! Lancer shall not die! So much history and there is still a market for the sedan... I am a mechanic/forman at a Mitsubishi franchise dealer I own x5 Mitsubishi first Gen la, lb lancers and I also have #4 NZ evoX final edition. The styling in this prototype will appeal and sell. Signed me up. The all new Final first edition
