We the people spoke when we voted and now we are being treated like children? It is tyranny when a few force the many to comply with want they want!!! We dont want any more chips in office!

It would appear the council has been studying at the Washington based political collage of public deception and have fallen into the disgraceful process of malfeasance in office so wantonly displayed by these nationally elected officials who now seem to be spreading there political agenda to any government that will adhere to their corrupt principles that all opposite opinions, if ignored, will go away.

I still believe that White Earthlings are progressive thinkers, unfortunately these progressives didn't bother to vote in the last election. So now the regressive leaders are in. When things are done one way for so long, people become afraid of any change, even if it is good change. It's either that or they are selfish, and are ignorantly paranoid to the thought of being invaded by non-Natives that will use up all our resources. Actually that already happened a century ago. Our children are not outsiders though and only want to be who their parents are. I always thought that when Anishinaabe made important decisions, they thought about the future generations, and how that decision will affect them. I guess that is what only 80% of us do today anyway. Inenindizowin (selfishness) I am pretty sure is not one of the 7 Anishinaabe values.

There must be respect for the Elders, living and passed. To survive, We must follow the will of those that have passed, and that is to ensure that our Tribe continue to exist ... for eternity. Listen, hear, act. Actions of a selfish few should not endanger the future of the Tribe. If nothing changes, We will disappear as a Tribe within a century. Act now!

Please focus on change, this is crucial for the people. The people have spoken and there is an obligation to respect the wishes of the people. We must move beyond politics, as the U.S. has suffered from for many years, and focus on our people, our communities, and our future generations.
