The federal government has no right to try to impose their idea of education on anyone. This is a parental/local decision. Please vote against "Common Core" of any kind.

After some research into common core practices, I must state that I am against this type of learning and allowing the federal government to dictate policy when education should be handled on a state-by-state level. Furthermore, the examples of rudimentary math learning techniques that are used in common core have got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen.

Common Core is nothing but a repeat of awful programs foisted on the public in the past: Race to the Top, No Child Left Behind, Outcome-Based Education, etc. etc. STOP COMMON CORE! It's nothing more than Left-wing indoctrination of our children!

I have spoken with my childs first grade teacher as well as teachers from neighboring states. They are frustrated and have said, "the curriculum is not age appropriate." The Gifted and Talented class students are not being challenged because of other students in the class and children with Development Delays are held to the same standard as their peers. This "one size fits all" is not okay.

I don't want the future leaders of America to be COMMON. I want them to endeavor to become the men and women God intends them to be, and to make sure that America remains the EXCEPTIONAL nation it always has been. The CC curriculum is driving children against their parents, and efforts to get kids interested in STEM. This curriculum is a DISASTER for the future of America.
