I work in a public school. I have several auto immune diseases. I feel like my health is in jeopardy if I return back to work while there is still such a risk. Please consider the teachers and staff as well as all the children. There is no harm in waiting.

I don’t feel comfortable sending my kids back to school. With a newborn on the way also I would rather keep my kids home.

I do not have children, but if I did, they would not be attending. The risks are too high considering not enough is known about coronavirus yet. Authorities and doctors keep changing their minds and rules proving that not enough is known. They say wear a mask, then don't. It's airborne, then it's not. It's contagious, then it's not, ect.. If they are not sure, I'm not so sure we should put our children's lives at risk. Keep the children home. After all The children are our future!

I am in favor of DL for the 20/21 school year. It is extremely irresponsible of officials to attempt the opening of schools during a pandemic with a potentially deadly virus that we cannot contain. I think you’re time is better spent coming up with an actual SAFE plan of DL than wasting it on orchestrating what will surely be a train wreck.

All indications around the country prove it is not safe to open schools. Our Governor is being a total hypocrite by suggesting and encourages the notion it is safe to open schools.

Do not open the schools! It is beyond unsafe. COVID isn’t prevalent in children because they are not being tested and are actually getting other severe and life threatening virus’ because of it. Not to mention the teachers and staff. Do not have this blood on your hands.

I feel that arhode Island schools should remain closed. Their is to much of a risk for the children and staff of the schools. There is an pit break of the Corona Virus happening in other states. I think we are taking our guard down to soon. If we are still doing meetings via virtually then we shouldn't be sending children to schools.
