So, school gets canceled for 3 inches of snow. But we have to go as teachers, students, support staff during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC? Putting our children at risk? Bringing Covid 19 home to older relatives? Putting teachers and other employees at risk? NO! STOP! STEP BACK AND RETHINK THIS!

It is not safe to return to in person school with the infected rate in Providence. Distance Learning should be allowed for all of RI schools not just some of the cities and towns.

If the private schools In Rhode Island are opened for teaching in the classroom then and Only then should the public schools open and have our children and teachers go back.

It does not make sense from a health risk perspective or financially given most towns are strapped for cash to fund needed resources.

Your plans refuse to follow even the simplist of the guidelines set forth by the CDC. It's as if you're asking for an outbreak! And no one, our children and our teachers, deserve to die for political mishandling and incompetence. Teaching and learning can continue online until it is safe to return to school.

The safety measures are inadequate, stable groups are a fallacy and there are too many unanswered questions at this point.

I feel it is extremely unsafe to go back into the classrooms in providence without social distancing, without masks and in groups of 25 to 30! This endangers children’s and teacher’s lives!

It's just not safe, period, end of sentence.
