Any type of discrimination is wrong. May all the victims of all discrimination receive justice.

The Aborigines in Australia are now recognised as are the Native Americans in America. It is time we recognise the Travelling community & stop criminalising them. Nobody chooses who they are born too & nobody should be shamed because of their birth right. Travellers are people too & most are very decent, very good people. I am not a Traveller but very much in Awe at how they manage to survive in this modern day bullshit of Denis O'Brien & Sean Fitzpatrick Robbing this country of billions. No Traveller would ever be allowed the opportunity to rob that much from the people of this land!!!! This is just another step towards real equality. Power to the people :)

I'm pleased to see this rising pride and self respect from some of the wildest most passionate and free people in the country.

The Irish State has so much to apologise and be shameful for the way our government and our society have treated the Irish Travellers. Stop the systematic discrimination, the cultural negligence and injustice and the make reparations for the historic discrimination, misrepresentation and mistreatment.

I think its time it was acknowledged the way many Travellers have been treated. We are not 2nd class citizens As an indigenous group to Ireland,we should be treated with respect, and entitled to the full protection of the law in relation to discrimination.I did publicly oppose ethnicity as i hadn't a clear understanding of why groups were pushing this agenda. One word changed my mind indigenous Irish Travellers. Ethnicity needs to ensure that we as a group are recognised and protected by the law of the land, and that we are treated fairly and equally in Ireland

we need to challenge anti-traveller hatred in every way possible. it's rampant and accepted.
