I too am black listed and neglected for what people precieve about me, I was in a mental hospital for a year, years ago with depression and rumours spread im a schizophrenic and i have to live with that stigma so i can relate to travellers as outcasts in their own country Good man, John Connors for making a stand.!!

These members of our society have been denied their basic human rights for too long.

shocking that the Gov have continuously lied and denied proper services to these people, a disgusting treatment of anyone in society!! R.I.P to all those people lost in Carrickmines and the many who commit suicide because of stigma and treatment that the gov have given.

We, the Irish Travellers, natives of our beautiful country, Ireland, call on our politicians and political parties to issues a formal apology to us, the Irish Travellers, in the name of justice, equality and diversity. We have for generations stood, and continue to stand, in the face of injustice, discrimination, dehumanisation and racism. Without any hatred or contempt, we request that our Irish government issues this apology to us, along with formally recognising our unique identity as a distinct minority ethnic group in Irish society.
