We, the citizens of the state of Florida, petition the state to repeal the statute(s) of limitations on physical torture.

Horrific things were done to these children! My uncle survived but still has emotional scars. Those responsible should be held accountable.

my brother went to Marianna. He was beat and I saw the black, blue and purple marks on his back and legs. He wasn't quite 12 when this happened. My mother and I saw this and she went into the office raising heck. If I can help testify, please let me know.

I was one of the kids that received an awful lot of these beatings ,(3) times in one day.was admitted to the infirmary.

I was there from 1965-1966..Was beaten (believe me there is no other term for it) on 2 occasions and was forced to help on 3 occasions, hold boys to the bed.

No statue of limitations should ever be able to prevent child abusers to avoid the law or prevent those that were abused from seeking JUSTICE.

I was torture, abused, sexually ;, beat and placed in cells, ;[ rat-holes], worked as child slave, we need this petition, Thank You, and GOD, Bless

No child should ever to live with the abuse the child should be forced to abuse mentally physically or sexually for any reason at any time any where. no child should have to live in fear from the time they wake up until they lay their heads down and then be afraid to go to sleep and this is what happen everyday. Please acknowledge this petition and change the law.

There should never be a limit to the time someone can be brought to justice for hurting a child to the point to where it effects him through out his life.
