I support my dad and his position against the SOGI agenda 100%!!! He has displayed tremendous courage, faith and sacrifice ensure the health and safety for ALL VULNERABLE young people in the school system and not just a separate minority group alone. He has always striven to be a man of integrity, compassion and justice; helping those in need to the best of his ability with careful thought, wisdom and consideration. He has approached this dilemma, not from a narrow minded, old school or religious judgement, but from a place of extensive education, broad spectrum experience and honest personal evaluation. Ironically, while he is lobbying for the best possible outcome to stop the source of bullying in every area of school experience, he himself is being bullied and harassed. This has occurred in the most immature fashion by the people he's challenged to step up and think differently in this mess. I might be biased as his daughter but regardless of that fact, I am completely aware of what's at stake and how desperately the truth needs to get through to the public about the potential harm being brought to our young people. I have acceptance for and bless all individuals of various gender identity orientation. I believe they have the right to dignity, inclusion and equality in our society. However, sadly, the recognition of respect towards LGBTQ individuals is migrating from freedom and equality to destructive power and control that sets them apart from any other minority group in society. It's counter- productive to promote equality for a people group while painting them as entitled victims at the same time. This 'special' segregation violates the foundation of our code of ethics and human rights in this country. I have a lot to share about my own life experiences that demonstrate why this program can create more damage than resolve in our school systems, neighbourhoods and workplaces. For the sake of the public being misled by the media. We need to stress that we are not about not being loving to students with gender issues, but have great concern for impressional young people becoming confused by exposure to the suggestions that being normal us not normal.
