Barry. I support you! You are doing the right thing. Ignore those words from who hates you. They hate you because they hate God. Those who agaist you are who against God. The first reality is that homosexual conduct is harmful. There is absolutely no way to practice sodomy safely. The second reality is it is impossible to change one's sex and to try to do so with hormones and cosmetic surgery is also harmful. SOGI denies the above realities and pushes dishonest pro-homosexual propaganda. Children need to be protected from such propaganda and parents must protect their children rather than be brainwashed or bullied into silence.

I wish a trustee in my area of BC would speak up so my niece and nephew could have someone trying to protect them from this.

Everyone deserves to be respected, and have a voice, and not be prejudged or put in a box, or called some epitaph like "hater" just because they have a different opinion. Barry was respectful, and no where did he promote intolerance or unkindness to anyone, but I have seen much intolerance and unkindness towards him! I most definitely do not want my children being fed confusion. I believe young children need help in creating their true identity in a healthy way. For goodness sake, I remember two of my three children identifying as puppies for some time. I humored them, but I would be quite appalled if someone treated them like a dog and convinced them to act and live that life, when it was not the one biologically given them! I would consider it abuse!!

Reverse discrimination against traditional value holders is no better than discrimination, Freedom of expression and speech should go both ways. Equality is not to silence the opposite party or to apply pressure on others with different view points, including those with the same belief as our forefathers 150 years ago when Canada was formed.
