I believe Barry Neufeld is a God send. He is speaking for thousands of people. The rest of the school board are basically a bunch of bullies and intolerant, trying to get him to bend or out of the picture. Forward so called thinking does not make something right in fact it is not forward thinking enough as to how this is going to impact our children in the long run. Their self esteem is so important and for them not to know who they are is tantamount. School Boards have made many decisions in the past to the detriment of our children and I can say as I was a victim of their "forward thinking" and my daughter being another of them not thinking at all. We need more people like Barry Neufeld. Go Barry Go I support you.

Children can make their own decisions when they grow up and are old enough to understand these issues. A young child should not be contemplating these issues.

Earlier today I was thinking very deeply about my grandchildren and great grandchildren and how they will grow up not really knowing who is male or female anymore and how will they decide what they should be and how they will be pressured to be something that is approved by this new wave of thinking and I was glad that at least my children grew up before all this nonsense began. I am in Alberta and the NDP has climbed on the band wagon and what can I do except pray. How wonderful to hear that Mr. Neufeld concerns himself so deeply about how our children will grow up. May God grant you the strength to carry on. I am so very proud of you.

We fully support Barry Neufeld. Shameful that the minister and the teachers union should ask him to resign when so many parents totally agree with him. The kids don’t need any more confusion offered by teachers he probably don’t even have their own children to raise! These are issues that should be left for parents and the school she get their nose out of our families
