Competitors and specatators all love the Philip Island track. A significant event like this could be tied into the F1 date for Melbourne and attract intrernational interest.

The maintenance of The World MotoGP Championship is essential to the financial future not only of the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, but Phillip Island as a whole and Bass Coast Shire and surrounding parts of Gippsland. We should not forget that the MotoGP contributes to the repatation of Victoria and the support of the Victorian Government is a vital part off both the economy as a whole of both Victoria and Australia.

A worthy idea, but rather than another Phillip Is Classic type event, bring back the Supercars, oh, and build another bridge! so that what ever event you do, people can come!

This proposal is something that must go ahead for the people of Phillip Island and the Motoring enthusiasts of Victoria. What an incredible venue to hold an event that no doubt would become world famous in years to come.
