As an educator and previous Aspen and Snowmass resident, I support Re-1 High School Ice Hockey. Competitive sports are essential to develop good sportsmanship and cooperation/collaboration skills. Please approve the addition of a of a Glenwood Springs High School Hockey Team for the 2018-2019 season.

As a former Glenwood Springs Captain, I would have undoubtedly appreciated the chance to play CHSAA in home rink.

Please allow this to happen. If these high school aged boys and girls don't get a chance to play on a CHSSA team, they will have to go elsewhere or quit playing hockey altogether. please, Please, PLEASE make this happen for them. Thank you!

I had 2boys who played Grizzly Hockey. One played through high school & the other traveled up to Aspen to play Varsity for 2 years. I barely slept with him on highway 82 late at night 3 - 4 nights a week! Grizzly Hockey is doing a great job with the young players - we need high school hockey downvalley !!!!
