A huge thank you from all of us and many more individuals throughout the Cedar Valley and surrounding communities to Mike Guild for his 34 years of dedicated service to the Waterloo Center for the Arts. Mike has touched thousands of lives, working to assure that every function he arranged was successful and treated with the utmost importance. We also thank him for beautifying the Center with hundreds of plants, purchased with his own money. He has been a strong asset to the City of Waterloo and is greatly missed. We thank him with all our hearts and wish him success in his future endeavors.

The response for Mike has grown far beyond what I imagined. Now we need to keep this energy moving toward the city council. Send this link to your city representative today and ask them to honor his legacy.

Class act. Waterloo is losing a legend.
WATERLOO MADE A HUGE MISTAKE LETTING HIM GO. He was the heart of that place.
Mike did so much for the arts center. Nobody else would spend their own cash on plants like he did. This is a real shame.
Always professional and always helpful. The center just wont be the same without Mike around.
34 years is a long time to give to this city. They really dropped the ball on this one.
The City of Waterloo should have never let him go.
